M to F: 7 am to 4:30 pm

- Willing to work at least 40 hours per week
- Weld test given upon interview for certification
- Ability to read and interpret Blueprints
- Ability to read and interpret Tape Measure
- Ability to shape and fit structural steel together according to Blueprints
- Ability to set-up, lay out work using fixtures and guides to fabricate structural connections for the welders on your floor
- Lift up to 80 pounds
- Weld FCAW 1/16th wire
- Torch cutting, grinding & burning
- Working knowledge of every day shop tools
- Clean up welds when necessary
- Cut material when needed
- Operate overhead cranes to move material once licensed.
- Work collaboratively with those on your floor and on surrounding floors to establish solid teamwork
- Communicate with your co-workers, especially during shift change to ensure continuity on the projects
- Appropriate PPE required for shop floor
- Keep safety as the highest priority
- General housekeeping of area as needed
- Other duties as assigned
