JOB SUMMARY
Keeps records of all products shipped and received in a company. Packs goods in shipping containers, develops mailing labels and shipping documents, and ensures all orders have been filled correctly. It also verifies incoming shipments by scanning barcodes to store that information in computers. Also works with offices inside warehouses and manufacturing plants.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Performs unpacking of shipment deliveries.
Prepares shipping documents.
Maintains records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
Consolidates shipping orders.
Creates mailing labels.
REQUIREMENTS
1 to 2 years of forklift experience
2 years of Shipping and Receiving experience
High school diploma or equivalent; technical school diploma a plus
Employment contingent upon skills assessment, criminal background, and drug test
