Monday to Friday – 6 am to 4:30 pm
10-hour days – 10 hours OT every week

Duties
- Perform general shipping, receiving and warehousing functions in the facility
- Control all inspecting, weighing, storage, movement, and documentation for materials entering and leaving the facility.
- Responsible for maintaining inventory control, identification while verifying, inputting and auditing information as needed into the inventory system.
- Review and compare packing slips, packaging instructions, shipping label’s
- Record receipt of the goods, and all shipping functions to receipts and shipments.
- Prepare daily shipments and receiving documentation and safely load trucks, trailers & sea containers via forklift.
- Maintain inventory of shipping supplies and prepare order requisitions to ensure ample stock on hand.
- Maintain customer owned warehousing inventory and reconcile monthly receipts and shipments.
- Familiar and proficient with various forms that are used and required by the major freight carriers for domestic, foreign, air, sea, and small package from the facility including associated documentation and labeling.
- Maintain knowledge of hazardous materials, Hazmat, labeling, GHS, proper shipping regulations, access and utilize portals associated with the hazards for Department of Transportation (DOT), International Air Transportation Authority (IATA), International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG), Fed-Ex and UPS Dangerous Good systems and maintain annual certification statuses as required.
- Assist in the implementation of improvements within the supply chain management and material tracking of the facility and the ISO Quality System.
- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
- Maintain Site Security inspections and awareness per DHS (Department of Homeland Security).
Requirements
- One or two years preferably in supply chain/manufacturing setting and experience with material handling equipment and proper operation of scales and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (at least Excel, Outlook, and Word) and basic office equipment (copies, scanners, printers, calculators)
- Required to accomplish day-to-day work activities and willingness to learn additional programs.
- Possess superior listening, oral and written communication skills with an attention to detail, neat legible handwriting and strong math skills.
- Strong understanding of concepts related to inventory management, export control, and shipping and receiving documentation is a plus.
- Can safely drive a forklift, Safe forklift operating experience is a must. Operate other material handling equipment such as; pallet, walkie stackers and stretch wrap machines.
- Must have a reliable vehicle and/or transportation
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and a national criminal background check.
Qualifications

- High School Diploma or GED
- Pass Drug Screen
- 18 yrs. or older-Dependable & Reliable
- Physically able to lift 50 lbs.
