Description
- Ensure that time is spent wisely and efficiently
- Scheduling truck pickups via internet and phone.
- Work in tandem with various facets (shop, office) to complete the daily tasks.
- Inbounds
- Proper paperwork is filled out correctly and clearly
- Outbounds
- Make sure orders are fulfilled
- Packing is secure
- Paperwork is attached to order/ packing slips
- Proper paperwork is filled out correctly for shipping report and accounting
- Take pictures of shipments
- Ensure loading of truck
Eventually
- Prepare shipping report
- Maintain a log of back-ordered items and follow up with the shop supervisor for timely release
- Coordinating with 3rd party logistics companies to schedule inbound/outbound shipments.
- Call trucking companies to schedule pickups
- Producing Bill of Lading
- Producing UPS/FedEx labels via the internet.
- Assist with inventory control and quality assurance
