Key Responsibilities:
- Commercial Project Execution: Manage the day-to-day technical workflows for new builds, structural expansions, and major commercial renovations.
- Documentation Control: Manage the complete submittal, RFI (Request for Information), and change order processes from pre-construction through closeout.
- Field Coordination: Act as the primary liaison between Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and design teams to resolve field conflicts.
- Schedule & Budget Tracking: Monitor project milestones, material delivery schedules, and job costing to minimize delays and overruns.
- Quality & Safety Assurance: Conduct regular site walkthroughs to verify that work aligns with commercial project blueprints, specs, and building codes.
- Meeting Management: Prepare agenda items and document accurate minutes for weekly Owner-Architect-Contractor (OAC) meetings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a highly related field.
- 2–5+ years of hands-on experience in a Project Engineer or Assistant PM role specifically with commercial building projects.
- Proficiency with industry-standard construction software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, or AutoCAD).
- Strong ability to read and interpret complex architectural drawings, structural blueprints, MEP layouts, and site specs.
- Valid driver's license and a reliable commute to project sites in the Zelienople, PA region.
