Position Title: Polling Place Scheduler (Contract)
Employment Status: Full Time
Shift: M-F 8:30am-4:30pm Pay Rate: $ 16.00
Assignment Start Date: 1/29/2024 Assignment End Date: 4/17/2024 (Approx)
Location: Pittsburgh, PA Reports to: Operations Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Job Summary
This position’s primary responsibilities include scheduling and coordinating individuals to work the polls for the 2024 General Election.
Duties:
- Assist with the data entry and scheduling of poll workers for the 2024 General Election.
Ability to:
- Demonstrate flexibility in prioritizing tasks and responsibilities
- Utilize Microsoft Office and other relevant automated systems proficiently
- Communicate well both orally and in writing
- Answer incoming and make outgoing calls
Qualifications:
- Handle heavy phone work
- Good clerical skills
- Good customer service work experience
- Prior work experience in the Elections Division is desired however not required
- Must be dependable
- Must be able to work in a fast-faced environment
