M to F – 7 am to 1 pm (4-hour days)
(Start and finish times may be flexible)
We need a responsible individual who will maintain the cleanliness in various environments of TWO residential community centers in the Squirrel Hill and Shadyside areas. MUST have a car to travel between the two facilities with cleaning supplies.
Position Summary For BOTH Facilities
- Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors in all designated areas.
- Clean and disinfect common areas, including hallways, elevators, and stairways.
- Empty trash cans, recycling bins, and dispose of waste properly.
- Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
- Clean and maintain kitchen areas and wipe down surfaces.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including wiping down sinks, toilets, mirrors, and ensuring the replenishment of supplies like soap, toilet paper, and paper towels.
- Dust furniture, windowsills, and other surfaces to prevent the buildup of dirt.
- Wipe down countertops, tables, desks, and other surfaces to remove dust, spills, or stains.
Qualifications
- Pleasant demeanor
- Superior communication
- Ability to lift unassisted to 20 lbs. occasionally.
- Experience in interacting with residents and the general public.
- Must pass criminal background check and pre-employment drug test.
- MUST have your own vehicle to travel between facilities with cleaning supplies- unfortunately, public transportation is NOT an option.
