Human Resources Specialist
The Human Resources Generalist supports the organization by managing core HR functions, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and fostering a positive workplace culture. This role serves as a key partner to employees and leadership, providing guidance on policies, procedures, and best practices
DESCRIPTION
Position Title: Human Resources Specialist (Temporary to Hire)
Employment Status: Full Time (40 hours)
Shift: M-F 8:00am – 4:30pm
Pay Rate: $ 20.00 to $ 25.00/hour *contingent upon experience
Assignment Start Date: 1/5/2026
Location: New Brighton, PA
Dress Code: Business Casual,
Key Responsibilities
• Administer employee lifecycle processes: recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding
• Maintain HR records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations
• Support benefits administration, including employee inquiries and issue resolution
• Advise managers on employee relations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution, coach and counseling
• Develop and deliver training programs on workplace policies and professional development
• Assist with HR reporting, audits, and metrics tracking
Qualifications
• 2–4 years of HR experience (generalist or specialist role)
• Knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
