As a Senior Pump Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining previously placed and new water or waste water pump systems. This position requires the ability to travel as needed. Previous knowledge and experience in the pump servicing field is required. The pay starts at $40 an hour, but will be based on met requirements for the position.
Schedule of the Senion Pump Field Service Tech:
Monday – Friday
6:30 am – 3:30pm
Overtime may be required
On Call rotation schedule
Key Responsibilities of the Senior Pump Field Service Tech:
Install, align and test new pump systems on field sites
Follow protocols and procedures related to specifications and codes
Maintain adequate maintenance scheduling and perform repairs
Identify any mechanical or electrical breakdown issues, reduce downtime
Perform troubleshooting on site, analyze root causes and implement resolutions
Log all records for nonscheduled and scheduled repairs; prepare recorded log sheets to ensure proper communication of repairs
Qualifications for the Senior Pump Field Service Tech:
8+ years of water pumping and waste water pumping systems
Mechanical aptitude and understanding for the following: pump systems, water treatment systems, electrical and hydraulics
Interpret and read technical manuals and schematics
Additional Skills Required:
Effective communication and person interaction skills
Ability to use diagnostic and testing equipment proficiently
Must lift up to 75 pounds
