Position: Desk Attendant/Communications Clerk
Location: Homestead, PA
Pay: $18.000/hour
Type: Temp to Hire
Hours: 2 shifts available -see below
- Wednesday / Thursday – (Midnight to 8 am) and Friday / Saturday / Sunday – (4 pm to Midnight)
- Tuesday / Wednesday – (10 am to 6 pm) and Thursday/ Saturday / Sunday – (4 pm to Midnight)
Type: Temporary to hire
Covid: Must show proof of Covid vaccination (First two shots)
Qualifications/Duties
- Computer literate
- Customer service experience helpful
- Multi-line computerized telephone experience required
- PBX experience preferred but not required
- Transfers calls to appropriate persons or departments
- Makes overhead announcements
- Assists in the implementation of the Centers’ emergency plans related to fire alarms, disaster drills, bomb threats, utility disruptions, weekly fire alarm tests, and drills
- Handles all Codes (Blue, Amber Alert, and Fire Code)
- Maintains residents and employee directories
- Meets and greets visitors and provides general information and direction
- Performs general clerical duties: mail, copying, filing, stuffing envelopes

- Must be Covid Vaccinated
- The position is contingent upon passing a background and pre-employment drug screen.
