Class B & C Driver – Local Deliveries

$19.00 to $20.00/hour to start
Monday thru Friday – Start Varies – 8 to 9 hours daily
Temp to Hire

Description of Essential Job Functions:
- Stops vary based on shipment and volume.
- Dedicated & Hot Shot Routes.
- Equipment
- Drivers are assigned a Standard, Freightliner, or Penske.
- All leased and maintained vehicles, new vehicles.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- Previous dock worker experience.
- Previous forklift experience in a freight environment.
- A valid medical card is required.
- 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- 5 years of U.S. driving experience.
- Must meet all DOT standards and maintain a commercial driver’s license.
- You must have a Hazmat endorsement or be able to obtain one.
- Ability to count and perform basic math, with or without a calculator.
- Basic written and verbal communication skills (documentation, communication with peers, supervisors, etc.)
- Ability to bend, twist, squat, push/pull freight throughout shift.
- Ability to follow instructions and complete required training.
- Ability to work independently and/or as a team member.
- Prior dock/warehouse experience in the transportation industry is a plus.
- Pass a company-paid Post Offer Pre-Hire screen (physical essential functions) test.
