Job description
Responsible for payable, billing, and general ledger coding.
Input invoices using custom software systems.
Write checks and post payments to tenant and vendor accounts.
Prepare utility and contract billing.
Assist with real estate tax and insurance tenant billings.
General ledgers accounts, including cash, prepare escrow draws.
Assist the General Manager in preparing the monthly budget review, budget operation. Forecasting, loan/escrow draws.
Compilation of cash receipts, expenditures, profit and loss statements, budgets, and intercompany transactions between multiple entities.
Supervision and performance of accounts receivable and payable duties including invoicing, expense reports, credit memos, payment transactions, forecasting and bank reconciliations.
Responsible for preparation and presentation of internal financial reports.
Accountable for setting up new clients with QuickBooks in a variety of industries including staffing, hospitality, service, and residential construction.
Worked with clients providing on-going bookkeeping services and tax and audit reports.
Responsible for preparing tax documents and meeting with CPA’s.
Assisted in reviewing collection reports to determine the status of collections by following up communications with clients.
Negotiation of pricing with vendors regarding billing and marketing procedures.
Worked with managers to develop annual budget plan goals.
Complete and remit sales tax collected.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting
Proficiency in Quickbooks is a requirement.
Experience in the construction a plus.
