Are you a hands-on problem solver with experience in steel and refractory work? We’re seeking an Account Manager to be the on-site go-to person for one of our industrial clients. This unique role blends account management with maintenance oversight, focusing on building strong relationships and ensuring operations run smoothly.
Location: Memphis, TN
Salary: $80,000 – $100,000
What You’ll Do:
- Serve as the primary on-site contact — the “go-to” person for the mill.
- Maintain strong, long-term relationships with internal and external teams.
- Manage inventory, monitor operations, and coordinate trials as needed.
- Perform occasional hands-on maintenance in the furnace and other areas (a few times per year).
- Travel to other sites as necessary to support operations.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in steel and refractory industries is strongly preferred.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while being present on-site.
- Comfortable working in a union environment with minimal hands-on responsibilities.
