Job Description

Lead Maintenance Technician
Various Properties throughout Allegheny County
$23.00 to $28.00/hour
Full Time
Workdays – Either 5, 8-hour shifts OR 4, 10-hour shifts
On-Call rotation every 4 to 6 weeks on the weekends
.57 mileage re-imbursement
 
Benefits available after probationary period.

The ideal candidate will possess some or all of the following skills. 
  • Interior finishing
  • Prep and painting.
  • Drywall installation and finish
  • Interior trim work
  • Exterior finish ability
  • General repairs.
  • Lock changes.
  • Wall framing
  • Kitchen design
  • Cabinet and countertop installation
  • Diagnosis and remediation of moisture infiltration (e.g., gutter overflows, grading, etc.)
  • Basic computer and handheld device knowledge.
  • Routine and emergency Maintenance
  • Property improvements (kitchen and bathroom updates, flooring replacement).
  • Inspections
  • Complete all work orders to adhere to Company maintenance guidelines.
  • Ensure buildings are prepared inspections.
  • Report any interior/exterior maintenance issues or concerns to property manager in a timely manner. 
  • Facilitate building repairs with sub-contractors.
  • Other duties as assigned.
 
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
  • Ability to work independently with little to no supervision.
  • Ability to give an elevated level of customer service.
  • Knowledge of residential wiring and electrical
  • Knowledge of basic residential plumbing
  • Knowledge of residential masonry
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and handheld technical devices.
  • Must have reliable transportation, valid drivers’ license, insurance, and acceptable attendance record.
