Location: Verona, Pa
Pay: $15.00 / Hour.
Hours: Full Time 40 Hours. Monday thru Thursday, 5 am to 3pm.
Type: Contract to hire.

1.1 Fit and weld parts to form complete units or sub-units, following weld specifications, and using jigs, welding torches, and hand tools. (Ref. P012 Production Procedure, Section 7, Step 4 of 12). Must be able to read drawings and perform the tasks assigned. Must have a good attitude. Must be able to pass the welding test Company provided prior to entering in to this position.
1.2 Verify conformance of work pieces to specifications, using squares, rulers, measuring tapes, and gauges.
1.3 Fit and welds fitted parts together.
1.4 Aligns and welds parts together according to specifications by using jacks, turnbuckles, wedges, drift pins, pry bars, and hammers.
1.5 Position or tighten braces, jacks, clamps, ropes, or bolt straps, or bolt parts in position for welding or riveting.
1.6 Move parts into position, manually or with hoists or cranes.
2.1. Hours worked need to entered in to Data base ( Dradis ) at the end of each shift.
2.2 Maintains In Line QC Requirement Verification Form 188 meets or exceeds parts required daily
2.3 Communicate job status to Fabrication Manager per job basis; Form F188 and verbal.
2.4 Prepares work to be accomplished by studying shop drawings and parts lists; gathering materials and tools.
2.5 Able to read and recognize weld symbols on supplied drawings or documents and pass assessment for weld joints and weld symbols.
2.6.1 Able to read Company drawings
2.7 Set up and operate welding equipment.
2.8 Able to apply an acceptable weld according to specifications provided.
2.9 Able to operate a plasma cutter and other cutting torches
2.10 Maintain good attendance @ Tool Box Talks when getting daily work assignments Form F066
2.11 Use accrued knowledge and experience to correct flaws and imperfections without compromising quality requirements
2.12 Maintain Quality Control through In-Line QC Inspection instructions (WI-0167 & Form F054). Verifies specifications by measuring completed component.
2.13 Tag and identify finished product per job, quantities, locations, etc. Per the production documentation.
2.14 Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs. Manage appropriate equipment Maintenance Checklist (Forms F006).
2.15 Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
3. Tools & Technology
3.1 MRP Software - DRADIS
3.2 Hand Tools screw/nut driver, wrenches and sockets, rubber mallets, cordless drills, grinders, sanders, files, clamps
3.3 Power Tools MIG welder, TIG Weld, stud welder, drill, grinder
3.4 Measuring Tools - dial indicators, tape measures, straight edge/scale rulers, combination squares, levels, surface gauges, weld gauge
3.5 Forklift and overhead crane.
4.1 High school diploma or GED.
4.1.2 Trade School certification a plus.
4.2 Three years' welding experience a plus.
4.3 Holding or have held welding certifications a plus.
4.4 Employment contingent on drug and criminal screen.
