The Sales & Marketing Employee provides support to continue the current sales as well as grow the existing market share.
Duties and Responsibilities
Be willing and able to spend significant time in Canada (3 weeks initially) for training with follow up training in Canada as required.
Be knowledgeable in the process, design and operation of the proprietary equipment that forms the core of business.
Analyze well-site conditions to determine suitability of company equipment. This will include the practical ability to understand flow regimes and the influence of pressure and liquid production on slug flow.
Provide clients with assistance in designing well-site piping to minimize the effects of erosional flow.
Provide technical support to the current domestic clients
Grow the current market for company by means of technical presentations, meetings and trade shows
Work with the Field Sales Representatives & Area Managers to coordinate field marketing & sales.
Schedule/sponsor promotional events for clients for the purpose of maintaining positive relationships.
Coordinate with Technical Sales & Marketing for ordering and stocking of marketing materials required for positive promotion of company to existing and potential clients.
Ensure that company safety standards and procedures and government legislation are maintained for all functions performed in this position
Minimum five years experience in the Oil & Gas Industry
Maintain a valid driver s license
Computer, communication and organizational skills
Confidentiality when dealing with proprietary company information
