Position: Maintenance Reliability Engineer (Electrical Engineer)
Location: Koppel, Pa.
Pay: Commensurate with experience.
Hours: Must be available to work all shifts if needed.

Essential Functions of the role:
Participate in the research, design, development, modification and evaluation of electronic components and systems to ensure a smooth transition of systems without interruption
Utilize new technology to maintain, program and assist in upgrading of plant PLC s to increase efficiency
Use computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering and design tasks.
Apply engineering principles and problem-solving techniques to ensure maximum quality and operating efficiency
Collaborate with maintenance management to increase equipment utilization employing Continuous Improvement techniques resulting in improved employee safety, productivity, quality, equipment reliability and overall equipment effectiveness.
Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline
3-5+ years related professional experience, preferably in Manufacturing (steel or a related business)
Programming Industrial Process Control Systems -- AB, Siemens, Wonderware, Ethernet, ControlNet, DeviceNet, etc.
Project Management experience
Lean Manufacturing experience
Networking systems/hardware knowledge and troubleshooting ability -- Switches, routers, TCP/IP, etc.
Relational database knowledge -- Access, SQL Server, etc.
Usage and administration of Microsoft Operating Systems
Industrial control computer processors, multi-tasking operating systems, real time communications systems, programmable logic controllers and the ability to integrate them into a working process control system.
Knowledge of process interactions between control layers and physical processes in a manufacturing facility.
Ability to decipher schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
