Position: Laser Operator
Location: Verona, Pa
Pay: $18.00 / Hour.
Hours: Monday thru Thursday, 3 pm to 1 am.
Type: Contract to hire.

1. Specification
1.1 Set up and operate laser, turret, router, brakes, rolls, shears and/or grinders, to bend, cut, form, mill, punch, drill, or otherwise form metal components. (Ref. P012 Production Procedure, Section 7, Step 3 of 7).
1.2 Demonstrate ability to load a program into the machine using striker, EnRoute, Bysoft, and/or machine interface
1.3 Demonstrate thorough knowledge of materials (ferrous and non-ferrous metals, acrylics and plastics).
1.4 Verify conformance of work pieces to specifications, using squares, rulers, and measuring tapes.
1.5 Layout and examine stock pieces to be processed to ensure that specifications are met.
1.6 Study engineering drawings and blueprints to determine materials requirements and task sequences.
1.7 Move parts into position, manually or with hoists or cranes.
1.8 Perform basic troubleshooting of issues affecting machine performance and/or productivity

2. Responsibilities
2.1. Hours worked need to entered in to Data base ( Dradis ) at the end of each shift.
2.2. Maintains In-Line QC Inspection instructions WI-0167 / Form F054 Verifies specifications by measuring received and completed component.
2.3 Maintain processing schedule to complete tasks by scheduled dates Form F188
2.4 Communicate job status to Material Processing Manager verbally & with Form F188
2.5 Set up the equipment assigned such as the laser and routing machines. Confirm fuel levels are adequate per manufacturer s recommendations.
2.6 Develops jigs or fixtures as necessary
2.7 Requisition and retrieve stock as per the cut sheet or Production Release. Return drops to inventory.
2.8 Use accrued knowledge and experience to correct flaws and imperfections without compromising quality requirements
2.9 Maintain Quality Control through In-Line QC Inspection instructions (WI-01667 & Form F054). Verifies specifications by measuring completed component.
2.10 Tag and identify finished product per job, quantities, locations, etc. Per the production documentation.
2.11 Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs. Manage appropriate equipment Maintenance Checklist (Forms F006).
2.12 Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

3.3 CAD Software AutoCAD, EnRoute, Bystronics

4. Qualifications
4.1 Education - High School Diploma, GED, or Vocation School.

5.0 Employment contingent on drug and criminal screen.
