Position: HR Generalist / Benefits Administrator
Location: Zelienople, Pa
Pay: $40, 000 yearly
Hours: 8: 00 am to 4: 30 pm, Monday thru Friday

The position performs duties at the professional level in some or all of the following functional areas: employee relations, onboarding, employment equity program, benefits management, and payroll functions. This position requires an extremely perceptive person who is capable of relating to individuals at all levels within the organization. The generalist must be sensitive to corporate needs, employee goodwill and the business needs. The position requires a high level of confidentiality.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Payroll processing, e.G., daily, biweekly and monthly activities.
Manage the hiring  process, e.G., recruiting, job descriptions, reporting, vendor management.
Update employee benefit plans, including 401K s and life insurance policies.
Up to date record keeping of OSHA forms (Form 300).
Manage the onboarding process e.G., offers, background checks, new hire orientation, and benefit plans.
Update online HR database with new employees, employee changes, position changes and company announcements.
Assist with annual open enrollment process and enrolling new hires in benefits programs.
Provide managers and executives with reports as requested, including weekly reports for the Operations Manager.
Perform customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
Perform clerical functions as appropriate.
Maintain complete confidentiality and privacy of departmental matters.
Complete all assignments in a timely manner.
Act as a leader within the company.
