Position: Administrative Assistant
Summary: To provide administrative support to the management team by preparing (writing/editing) correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls, scheduling meetings/rooms, filing and assist in various plant projects as needed.
Department: Water Production
No. Of Hrs. Per week: 40 hrs.
Shift: Monday through Friday from 7: 00 am.-3: 30 p.M. With a 30-minute lunch (unpaid) and two 15 min. Breaks (paid). Overtime may be required with prior approval.
Dress code: Casual
Anticipated Start Date: January 1, 2018
Duration: Through July 1, 2018
Develop correspondence, forms, and presentations using relevant computer software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Enter customer information into appropriate spread sheets for Laboratory tracking, data entry
File and retrieve documents, records, and reports
Manage room calendars and determine meeting attendees
Maintain good working relationships with public officials and staff
Other clerical duties as assigned
Necessary Skills and Abilities
Strong Computer Skills
Required: To be considered eligible for this position, the applicant must clearly show one year of office assistant experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint. Must have the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, board members and public officials, as well as outside customers (of all levels) and vendors. Sensitivity to confidential matters is required.
