This position will require managing the life cycle of a project. This includes establishing, maintain, scheduling, and enforcing project standards, influencing decisions internally and externally while effectively communicating with all stakeholders associated with the project.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively with co-workers, management, customers, and others in a courteous and professional manner
- Provides assistance with front end sales quotes regarding pricing, production time and logistics
- Manage the life cycle of a project, serving as the liaison between external and internal customers
- Enter all relevant sales data into the system, establish tasks, distribute preliminary information, and create and manage project folders according to company standards
- Ensure the project is completed accurately, on time, and in the best interest of the company and customer while maintaining open communications with all parties
- Maintain a relationship with the customer, developing business opportunities for current and future needs
- Facilitate kick off meetings with all required departments to review orders and develop a plan to exceed customer expectations, and hold follow up meetings to ensure deadlines are being met
- Maintain communications with internal and external customers to ensure project tasks are being accomplished effectively and efficiently within the established time frames
Requirements:
- Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred
- Three (3) to five (5) years of STEEL Fabrication / related experience -
- Excellent analytical skills
- Familiar with reading and understanding blueprints and engineering drawings
- Computer literacy including MS Office, Auto CAD, and Inventor
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
